🏍 First to Break the 17-Minute TT Lap
In 2016, Dunlop did what was once thought impossible—he became the first rider to lap the Isle of Man TT course in under 17 minutes.

🏍 First to Break 130 mph on a Supersport 600
Supersport 600 bikes aren’t built for the same speeds as Superbikes, but Michael Dunlop wasn’t interested in limits. He became the first rider to lap the Isle of Man TT course at over 130 mph on a Supersport machine, pushing a middleweight bike to speeds only seen in premier categories.

Michael surpassed his uncle Joey Dunlop’s record of 26 TT wins, officially becoming the most successful rider in TT history. His relentless determination and unmatched skill on the Mountain Course have earned him a place at the very top of road racing’s greatest riders.

🏍 124 Irish Road Race Wins,  A Homegrown Champion
Dunlop is fourth on the all-time Irish road race winners list, behind only Ryan Farquhar (211 wins), Joey Dunlop (156 wins), and Robert Dunlop (135 wins). His dominance on Irish roads has made him a national icon.

Defining Moments of Greatness

TT Team of the Year, MD Racing Makes History. In 2024, MD Racing became the first-ever privateer team to win TT Team of the Year, a groundbreaking achievement in road racing. Led by Michael Dunlop, the team’s relentless drive and four TT victories secured them this prestigious honour, proving that passion and determination can outrun factory-backed giants.

Reviving BMW at the TT. In 2014, Michael won the Superbike TT, giving BMW its first TT victory in 75 years (since 1939).

🏁 Four Wins in a Single TT Week, Four Times. First man ever to acheive the incredible feat of winning four races in a single TT week on four occasions2013, 2014, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
